Belly Photos

We finally took the big-belly photos tonight. Here is one that I played with in photoshop. Here is me & my belly.
Of course we had to get the kids in too.
And of course they had to show off their belly's.
Finally me & my big belly.
Of course Brian was very glad that he just had to take the photos & not be in them.

Painting with the Kids

Both the kids love to be artistic but mostly it is Madelyn who will sit at the table everyday and either color, draw, paint, or use her dot makers (like bingo dabbers). So I have finally been able to find these paint jars that help her not make a mess. Here are the kids painting...

Brendan's creation. I have no clue what he was trying to do.
Madelyn's creation.
And of course I couldn't let them have all the fun so I did each of their names for them.

And finally, since everyone has been asking for a belly photo here is one from last week. I don't look all that big but hey I have 8 more weeks to go and now most of my maternity pants aren't fitting anymore. Also I feel very large.

Winter Update

We are still in the middle of our crazy Michigan winter here but at least this weekend we have had a slow thaw. (Which means we don't have water in the basement, yeah!!!) But alas, the fine warm weather will not last. It is suppost to snow on Thursday.

A couple weeks ago we went to check out the Metro Park - Indian Springs up near the Holly area. They have a cool nature center as well as a Discovery Center that they built with a tunnel under a lake. Here is what the lake looks like in the middle of winter with ice over the top of the lake. Here is the dome at the end of the tunnel, you can see the ice above us.
Along the side they have windows at the base of the building so that you can see the tunnel from outside so to speak. But you can't really see anything this time of year.
They also had a kids room with toys, books, coloring activities and such. Here they are trading each other for different animals.
And of course the kids wanted a photo with the snowmen. Now that I think about I should have put my belly in the third head, hehe. (won't be long now!)

Madelyn's Birthday Cards

Well it is almost that time for Miss Madelyn to turn 3! So of course I wanted to do something super cute for her birthday invites.
Bring in all her princess dresses and some time in the studio I was able to make her cards & even got them ordered today! That is great for me, on time for once.

Here are the photos of her in her dresses for those who don't live close to come to the party:
Cinderella Sleeping Beauty.
My little woodland fairy. This is my favorite dress (but of course not hers) It reminds me of the evil queen from Snow White. But it will be also a good dress for the Renaissance Festival.
Here is an idea of what the cards are going to look like:
